CEPHtmlEngine issues CC 2017

when I run Illustrator and PS (2017 version) in my computer, almost 7 processes called "Adobe CEP HTML Engine" starts to run. These processes are consuming lots of RAM memory, as I can see in the task manager for Windows.

Already tried this solution more than once: High CPU usage due to CEPHtmlEngine

and tried to uninstall and install everything.

already contacted adobe (chat), but they only sent me a standard troubleshooting for performance issues.

and the problem is still here...

I see that its a common problem, I wonder if someone found a diferent solution (and effective solution) for it and could share it.

thx

Give this a try on Photoshop CC 2017 (not sure about Illustrator, since I don't have that problem). Go to Preferences > Plug-ins > UNCHECK "Allow extensions to connect to internet" and "Load Extensions panel". After doing this, I don't see CEPHtmlEngine in my Activity Monitor. I got this from info from this vid...Disable Adobe CEP HTML engine and Make Photoshop Faster | تسريع ادوبي فوتوشوب - YouTube

The only solution for me was to uninstall ALL Adobe applications, Creative Cloud application, clear up all the cache and services. And reinstall everything from scratch. Only that made Illustrator launch again.

Any help on this issue? I have the same problem: I just can't open any .AI file — Illustrator and some CEPHtmlEngine become unresponsive, and I need them to Force Quit on my Mac. I can NOT open ANYTHING, ANY file!
