Change color of "artistic texture" symbol sprayer ?

Hi - In Illustrator, I'm using an artistic texture (for example, stipple, ripple, etc) with the symbol sprayer.  Is it possible to change the color of the texture? All of the textures are currently black; I'd like to change it so that the texture is white or gray.  Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

You can use Recolor art to change the color of symbol instances. You might need to edit the colorization settings and allow coloring of black. Of course you could also just edit the symbol. DOuble click it in the symbol panel.

You may also try the Symbol Styler tool (with black symbols / symbol sets) or the Symbol Stainer tool (with non-black symbols).
