And don't try to save it directly into the New Document Profiles folder, save it first on your desktop and move it to that folder (you will need an Admin password).

You can do this by editing the [Normal Paragraph Style] in the document profile(s) you wish to use.

Say for example you create new documents from the 'Print' tab in the New Document window:

Open the 'Print.ai' file located at:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 25 Settings\en_GB\x64\New Document Profiles

Edit the 'Normal Paragraph Style' to whatever settings you need.

Save and overwrite the file.

Whenever you create a new document from the 'Print' tab in the future, it will use that paragraph style as a default.

Repeat for other document profiles if needed.

Thank you for this reply. Unfortunately that path doesn't exist. I don't have an 'AppData' folder on my computer. I have located several files called print.ai and found one in a folder called 'New Document Profiles'. However, when I open this file and change the font it won't let me save it as I don't have access privileges.

Are you using a Windows machine? By default the AppData folder is hidden. You need to ask Windows to show it:

It's in your user folder, so you should be able to save files to it. If you can't, are you an administrator on your machine? Can you change read/write privileges for the folder?
