Change prepare format to diamond

Hi,

Would like to know how I can create a doc instead of square or cuboid.

Need to prepare a backwall layout in diamond.

On the brightest site of the diamond we have 1600mm and the highest would be 2300mm.

Please help.

Thanks a lot.

Manuel

Artboards are always rectangular. But to create a diamond shape to use as a die/guide:

Draw a square, rotate, then select these 2 points shown, and scale them.

Go into transform and with the chain unlinked input 1600mm x 2300mm

Obviously you'd have to create the shape on a rectangular artboard.  This gives you the flexibility to add bleed and center marks for printing.  In the case of the web, you'd create transparent areas and retain the diamond shape ( save as .png ).  So, not sure what the application is, but you'd want to create a dieline in the case of the shape being printed and then cut.
