Change the scale of an artboard

I am using Illustrator 26.3.1 on a Windows 10 computer

I have an architectural floor plan with each room on an A4 Artboard scaled at 1 to 100.

  1. I want to change the scale to 1 to 50 so each room fills the A4 artboard. How do I do this?
  2. Once I have the correct scale to fill the artboard, how do I print just the one artboard at a time?

Please see the attached screen capture of the living room artboard

I look forward to your answer.

Jim

Jim,

Concerning 1: As I (mis)understand it, you can just select the entire artwork on the Artboard, then Object>Transform>Scale uniformly bt 200%.

Or, with the centre Reference Point ticked in the Transform panel, just add *2 to the W or H box and hold Ctrl and press Enter.

Concerning 2: You can see how here,
