Change Width of Calligraphic Brush After Drawing

I drew a complete line art with the calligraphic brush tool with pen pressure, thinking that I could adjust the widths of various lines with the width tool after making the line art. So I got lazy and did not draw proper widths for several lines. I have a lot of variable widths in my art which goes from very thin to very thick and with a sub-par drawing tablet I did not feel like spending a lot of time to get every single line spot-on if I could just adjust some of those lines with the width tool. Except I just learned that I cannot. Do I just have to redo my entire art with extra careful pressure using the calligraphic brush? I could also possibly convert all my lines to Basic right now and go in with the Width tool but that also sounds just as time consuming.

Any thoughts?

Basically those are your options.

You could try and adjust the brushes as well.

WHen you select one path, you can adjust the brush options of only that path using the settings for selected object button at the bottom of the brushes panel. But if adjusting that does not work for you, then see your own post. When adjusting the brushes, you can also try and set the roundnoss to the pressure etc. (I hope you get the idea). But sounds like a lot of work as well.

There is a plugin that allows you to use pressure for the width, but it cannot be applied after the path has been drawn: DynamicSketch.
