Changing arrowheads directory

Hello,

are there any possibilitys to change the directory of customized arrowheads? In our company we don't have permissions on C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2022\Support Files\Required\Resources\de_DE to replace the arrowheads.ai file on our own and any discussions with our administration team is pointless. 😉

You can copy the modified arrowheads file to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2022\Plug-ins and AI will read that one instead of the one in Support Files. Do you have permissions for that folder?

I'm afraid battling your administrators is the only way forward then.

You could perhaps cheat it by creating a juncture in the folder (an invisible virtual link that forwards file handling requests to ther physical storage locations), but otherwise I don't think it will be possible.
