Changing cap and extrusion color in new 3D tools

Adobe's demonstration of the new 3D tools (the animation with the "Flora" text) has a white cap, with a green extrusion color. However, I don't actually see any way to do this--the cap is always the same color as the extrusion. How can I make them different?

I found a workaround: giving the text a different STROKE color, and then setting the stroke to 0.1pt. It's not perfect because there's still a liiittle bit of stroke color on the letters where I don't want it (I'd rather the caps be clean with no outline)--and it seems like going smaller than 0.1pt gives some weird results.

Add a Stroke to the object and the sides of the extrusion will be the Stroke color instead of the Fill color.
