Changing FOV / perspective in 3D tools

Whenever I create 3D objects they often look quote isometric (not sure if thats the right word) where they don't seem to have any perspective.

Is there a way to set it so that it looks as though it is being viewed through a fish-eye lens?

The new 3D panel doesn't have perspective (yet), but the old 3D effects (Effect > 3D & Materials > 3D (Classic)) do.

Nothing that will create a fisheye effect though.
