Illustrator 27.3.1

MacStudio M1 - MacOS Ventura 13.0

Hello,

I'm currently working on a large art piece, drawings are size 1 on a large workspace (5000mmx5000mm).

The art is 4500x3800 mm, but when I copy it from a first document to another, the drawing is copied with new dimensions : 5769x5100mm, with an error message of course.

Any reason for that ?

Pretty simple to resize the drawings, but that's still a bug in my opinion.

Are you copying guides too?

How are you selecting - Select All? Maybe something off the artboard you're selecting as well - run clean up (from Object→Path)

Are you working on a Large Canvas document?

Yes, 5000mmx5000mm.

That would not be a Large Canvas document in itself.

You might want to upload your AI file to Dropbox or the like and share a link.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
