Changing Typekit Sync font

ommiting an hour spent trying to figure out why cloud wont sync fonts, turn on off restarting and eventually reinstalling creative cloud for the sixth time this month.

why is it that if i load up a document with font synced, change the font that it changes all other unrelated font settings to default, and also forgets the action so theres no way to undo.

i mean guys seriously all the cloud stuff is just really screwing up our workflow in the end. make it work or remove it.
