Character Panel - Illustrator

The Character panl in Adobe Illsutrator is out of shape. The fonts aro too big. How do I change this ?

fixed. Opened Illustrator on the laptop screen, then relocated the application to my extra screen.

Check your system's screen settings and DPI settings. This has been known to happen when these things are not set to default standard values and AI misinterprets custom DPI settings/ resolutions for high-res screens.

Everything is set to recommended defaults. Still the same
