Chinese Fonts Written in Only Chinese?

Now all the Chinese font’s names are written in Chinese! How stupid is that! How are you supposed to find a font that you have used in another application? In my case “Songti SC” In the words of the great Victor Meldrew “I don’t believe it!”

This will make a complete mess of many of my projects. Is there a way of reversing this ridiculous nonsense so you can read them in English? and why on earth have they done it?
