Cierres inesperados de Ilustrator

Estos cierres son muy frecuentes y lo que concluyo es que pasan cuando hay imágenes incrutadas o arrastradas directamente de otras páginas, hay alguna solución? Gracias.

Thanks so much for reaching out and sharing these details. I completely understand how frustrating it must be to experience unexpected closures, especially when you're working quickly and dragging images directly into Illustrator.

Could you please confirm which version of Illustrator you're using and share your operating system details? Also, does this happen with all files or is it limited to a particular file? It would also be helpful to know if this occurs even in a newly created document.

Additionally, do you see the Adobe crash reporter dialog when the app closes? If yes, please submit the crash report and share the email address you used (via DM) so I can locate the report and investigate further. You can check this guide for help: https://adobe.ly/44Kk1Rt

Hola gracias por responder. Esto ocurre con archivos nuevos y viejos. Tengo la última version de Adobe 2025 y mi computador tiene el sistema operativo Sonoma 14.6. Precisamente ayer me pasó en una reunión y casi pierdo todo el trabajo realizado, aforntunadamene Illustrator RECUPERÓ lo hecho hasta cierto punto.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I’m really sorry to hear the crash happened again.

Since Illustrator was able to recover part of the work, that's a good sign, but I'd still like to help get to the root of what's causing these closures. Could you please try dragging the same image that caused the crash into a fresh document again and let me know if the issue repeats? Also, if the Adobe crash reporter shows up when the app closes, please do submit the report and let me know which email you used (via DM), so I can check the logs on our end. In the meantime, I'd also recommend giving Illustrator’s preferences a reset and checking for any third-party plugins (try safe mode) or fonts that might be interfering. Reference: https://adobe.ly/4eNsacy.

@santiagoMasa Am sorry, I don't quite understand your question. Are you dragging images from other Illustrator files into another Illustrator and crashing? Or you dragging an image from your computer into Illustrator which crashes?

You could go to the File menu - Place (or press Shift + Cmd/Ctrl + P), https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/place-multiple-files.html

Arrastro imágenes desde el computador a Illustrator, tambien uso "colocar" pero muchas veces por rapidéz simplemente arrastro y me esta pasando que se cierra inesperadamente.
