Circle To Hexagons

Hi,

I know this question has been asked but i still could not figure out how to change ellipse circles in illustrator to hexagons. I have a grid of multiple circles. If anyone has the Zamena script that would be appreciated.

The Zamena script has not been available for a while, but the replaceitems script from Alexander Ladygin does also a good job:
