Trying to create (4) 360 degree outline strokes an equal distance apart and reducing size as it draws near the middle. When trying to move one of the paths after scaling it disappears. I have tried arranging bringing to front and does not seem to work. Looked for releasing or ungrouping.

Probably an easy task which a little perplexing for me.

Is Scale Strokes & Effects selected as a Scale option (double-click on the Scale tool to open options)? I'm wondering if the appearance of the stroke is getting too small.

If that's not it, it might also help if you could post a screenshot.

Thanks, I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong. Still have a long way to go in learning AI.
