Clicking the Select Tool Deselects Itself

Hey All,

When I click the Selection tool from the toolbar, it immediately deselects itself. Now, I can use the 'V' key just fine. The other behaviour that happens when I click the Selection tool is that it minimizes the Illustrator app to the top of the screen. Again, all other toolbar buttons/icons appear to be fine.

My Machine:

2020 iMac 5K w/ Retina

32GB RAM

3.80GHz Intel i7

Troubleshooting Attempted:

Checked for Logitech updates (Keyboard & Mouse) - I'm on the latest

Closed all apps.

Restart App

Restart iMac

Different Mouse & Keyboard

Checked for Illustrator Updates

This just started happening since I updated to Illustrator 2024. Has anyone experienced this?
