I have a simple logo with a clipping mask.  It looks perfect in Illustrator, but when I export it as a PNG, the clipping mask isn't working.  Here's what I see in Illustrator:

And here's what is exported:

Tried to upload my .ai file but the forum says "the content type (application/postscript) does not match its file extension and has been remove".  Not sure what that's about.

Any ideas?

I can't reproduce that.

But you have created that clipping mask using the button in the Layers panel, right?

That creates a different mask. So maybe that is not working here. Try and release that and instead use Object > Clipping mask > Make

Rename it to PDF in order to be able to upload.

WHich version are you using?

Did you already reboot?

Yes, rebooted.  Using Illustrator 2024 (28.1).  Uploaded illustrator file as PDF here.  Thanks.
