Clipping mask releases when duplicating shape /2023 v27

Question

I filled a rectangle with a line pattern using clipping mask then tried to use the selection tool to drag and duplicate the rectangle. The clipping mask will then release in both the copied rectangle and the original rectangle. Just started using Adobe Illustrator 2023 v27. Is this a bug in the new version? Can it be fixed?

If you want to use a line pattern, then no clipping mask is needed. Just create and apply a pattern swatch.

But anyway: clipping masks don't just release themselves. It's important that you don't deit them in isolation mode if you want to copy the complete thing.
