closed path wont fill (ipad)

Yes the path is closed, so whats the reason it wont fill?
wether its a path i drew or a drag and draw circle tool...

As Monika suggested, a screenshot would be helpful.

Are you viewing in Outline?

What happens if you select the path and choose Object > Path > Join?

In the Tools panel, do the Fill and Stroke icons show that the object has a fill or no fill?

Are you able to fill the object by selecting it, choosing a fill color and clicking on it with the Live Paint Bucket tool?
