Ever since the most recent update of Illustrator, I have noticed severe lag whenever I copy and paste elements within the program. I have gone through and cleaned my system to make sure the clipboard is empty and emptied caches etc. Nothing seems to help. I have never had this problem until the update.

 

Has anyone else experienced this?

What happens if you deselect the "SVG" option in Preferences > File handling & clipboard?

Im having the same issues... and my colors aren't matching with swatches, that all previously worked fine...
