Question

Color changed after saving as adobe illustrator (ai)

I am using IllustratorCC 2017, and the color I used is RGB. The problem is after I have saved it into adobe illustrator (ai), and reopen it, the color turns dim, the color code also changed. What can I do?

What do you mean by save it into Adobe Illustrator ai? Where was the file created? Describe your workflow and explain what stage the color changes.

This was how I saved, and I created the file in illustrator cc 2017. After I have done my work, I saved, then I reopen it, all the color code changed, e.g. from fXXXXXX -> eXXXXXX.

So you are saying that you create the file in Illustrator, color some of the objects in the file, save and close the file, and when you reopen it some of the numbers change?

Or did someone else give you the file and when you open it the color values are different than what you expect?

What was the Document Color Mode of the file? If you want to work in RGB, start with a Document Color Mode of RGB.

This screen capture is just the color mode for the color mixers in the color panel. It is not the color mode of your document.
