Color gradient does not fully save

Hi 

i'm trying to create a custom color swatch palette of neon color strokes, for which i am using custom gradients. After tinkering with the settings, I end up with a radial gradient like this one :

Note that this is a stroke on a single line, not a fill. I can then save the gradient as "BLUE NEON", but when I try applying it to another line, i don't get the right gradient and get this instead :

It looks like it saves all gradient settings except "Apply gradient through the stroke", circled in red here :

Anyone know how I can successfully fully save my gradient to use in other documents ?
