Color gradient with 3D function not possible

Unfortunately, the 3D effect prevents me from continuing to use the color gradient. I applied a color gradient to several objects that I named as a compound path. The color gradient no longer starts from the center, as originally intended
Does anyone have any idea how to keep the original color gradient when using the inflate 3D function?

So the original image might or might not have been created with Illustrator?

So what you could do: not make a compound path. Gradients can be unified ny just selecting multiple objects and clicking and dragging wiradient tool. When objects are single, then Illustrator does not change the gradient when applying a 3D effect.

Generally 3D effects and gradients can be tricky together.

Yes, that's right. Before I used the 3D tool, the dark blue color transitioned evenly into turquoise from the center of the graphic. The 3D tool ignores the color gradient settings.

Everything was created with Illustrator. The individual objects were created as a compound path so that the gradient is applied evenly to all objects.

If I don't use the 3D tool, the gradient is no longer centered. I can't change that afterwards.
My intention was to create a three-dimensional effect for the logo. Or, as in Illustrator, to apply the Flattened Edge and Relief... option under Options - Effects. However, this does not seem to work with the 3D and gradient tools. I have to create the desired effect manually. Unfortunately, there is no other way. This is the result .
