Question

Colormanagement issues when exporting the same file to PNG and JPG

I've recently ran into the problem that when exporting my file to PNG, JPG and SVG (using the export for screens option) the assigned colors show differently.

my color setting is: Adobe RGB 1998. ->convert to workspace.

document is set on RGB.

PNG and SVG differ from the JPG. (JPG seems correct and the others are to dark)

I've embedded the profile in file, but still nothing seems to make a difference.

Please help, i've no clue what to do to fix this.

Kind Regards,

Nick

Illustrator won't embed a color pofile in PNG or SVG. Only  your JPGs contain a color profile and then browsers might show the intended colors (in case they are able to).

Most stuff on the web is handled with sRGB, so your profile differs and that might cause what you're seeing.

You might want to convert to sRGB.
