Colors selected in Illustrator Web (beta) keep changing

I am currently using the beta Illustrator on the web (unable to download apps on the computer I am temporarily borrowing). I am trying to select colors for a brand but every time I click off a shape and back on to it the color has changed. I cannot visually see the difference but whether I enter a HEX code, RGB or CMYK values in the color window it will change when I click back on a box. For example, I set a shape to be #95B2CE but when I click back on the shape the color is now #95B3CD. The colors look the same, but I am creating a brand guidelines so if the same shape throughout the document is in different colors the brand guidelines are going to be useless. I was trying to reference colors on Pantone’s website but the Pantone color books don’t seem to be included in Illustrator Web, so I was copying the HEX from Pantone’s website to Illustrator but since Illustrator keeps changing the codes so I cannot properly tell which colors I am comparing. I tried entering the RGB and CMYK values too but those kept changing too.

Also, why can I not copy text from Illustrator Web? When I try to copy any text and paste it (even within Illustrator Web) the pasted text becomes “Illustrator Web Data - ee60c59a-3755-488a-8d8c-2111ac35d9f5”. This glitch made it frustrating to even make this post.

Is there a way to edit the setting for my Illustrator Web account or for the document to retain selected colors? I suspected the document was converting the colors if I was selecting web colors when the document was set as a print document, but when I set the CMYK to be 40, 14, 0, 10 the document changed it to 46, 20, 6, 10 and the color change was more noticeable than when it changed the HEX code I had selected.

    Hello @JJRenae

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I tried to replicate this behavior on my end, but could not. Would you mind confirming the version of the OS/Browser installed, and sharing a brief screen recording of your workflow and the problem, including the color settings for your display in the OS settings and the document color settings, so we can check this with the team?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
