i copy this  from a file

and paste it in another file and get this

need help please

    what immediately looks odd to me is I don't see the purple drop shadow ... possibly you are copying only part of the doc and the rest is locked somehow...

    see this purple sliver behind each shape?... it doesn't show up in your 'lighter' result.. I think it would still be visible if it was some color profile shift.

    From which kind of file do you copy it?

    Are these vector objects?

    If both are Illustrator files and those are vector objects: Please analyze both of the files using the layers panel and the appearance panel.

    If you can't make sense of that, please post screenshots here.
