Question

Colour Discrepancies

I'm really getting tired of Illustrator's colour discrepancy glitch.

I'm currently experiencing some colour flickering while working. Eventually, these colours lose their vibrancy somehow and it's impossible to fix them unless I open a new file and copy-paste these objects and even sometimes this doesn't work. The HEX code seems to be fine though. It feels similar to when you work on CMYK mode except there's no way to fix this.

I've tried changing the colour profiles. Adjusting the Bridge's colour settings etc.

Does anybody experience anything similar?

Hello @eld32843569,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind trying to recalibrate your monitor for sRGB (https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/calibrate-your-display-mchlp1109/mac), restarting your computer, and then relaunching Illustrator to check if it helps?

Also, try to run Illustrator under a different administrator account (macOS), install an older version of the Wacom driver (6.3.46-2), and share your observations.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

If you turn off GPU acceleration, does that work better?

Not really. It seems to work but it flickers again randomly. I've noticed this is more noticeable whenever I plug my Wacom Cintiq 22 HD.
