Combine print ready files to jig template

we are running a print on demand store
Looking for a software/ integration to Combine more print files in to one.

We are getting print ready files in correct dimensions when customers have placed there order.

But depending on the product we are printing up to 50 products at ones, placing them in a jig.

We are today in illustrator placing the individual files on the correct positions depending on the product and jig.

We would like to find a solution to automate this process as it is very time consuming. Do you know any software/integration to do this? Ideally which can trigger automatically

Hi Martin. Have you been able to find a way to automate your jig set-up? We are looking for the same, so interested to see if you have found a decent workflow.

It really depends on the printer you are using. For our large format Epson printer you can use with a EFI Fiery or Oris RIP software package that combines multiple documents into the best configuration for the paper size.

the products are placed in a jig and the print ready files needs to be placed pixel perfect iin the right spots dependning on the jig used. i haven found any rip whic can do this perfect, the closed i have got with a rip i using variable data, but again it requires to prepare the CSV files,

What about using something simple like an InDesign template with the jig laid out on a blank document that you can then place linked files into and export a single PDF?
