Compatibility of Epson 700 and later versions of Illustrator

I spent 3 months between Epson and Adobe as to why Epson 700 prints looked muddy. Finally I suggested since I hadn't any problems with older Epson, couldn't I download an earlier version of Illustrator. I downloaded Epson 2024 28...and finally clarity in prints. 

I have updated the Illustrator 28 recently and now the prints are muddy.

 

Where can I get an older version of Illustrator 28? I want crisp prints again!!!
