COMPLETELY Disappearing Clipping Mask

Hey all, i'm having a problem. So I have a large amount of linework for an architectural project, and a lot of it extends off it's own artboard, so I used a clipping mask the size of the artboard to fix that issue. I then moved onto a different artboard, but when I returned to that artboard, EVERYTHING had disappeared, clipping mask, linework, etc, the entire artboard was blank. At first, I thought I had accidentally deleted it all, but when I pressed ctrl+y to just see paths, everything shows up. The problem is that when I get out of the path view, it's still all gone. I can't select it, it doesn't appear, and it's not locked or on a different layer. What on earth is this problem, and how can I fix it?

Hi MtMcKinley,

Have you tried turning off GPU Performance from Illustrator preferences as suggested by Mylenium.

If not, in the application bar, click the GPU Performance icon   to display the GPU Performance settings in the Preferences panel.

Uncheck the GPU Performance check box and click OK.

Preferences panel

Please let us know if that helped, or the issue still persists.

Kindly update the discussion if you need further assistance with it.

Thanks,

Your hardware acceleration doesn't have enough juice, is misconfigured or simply bugs out with AIs crappy use of GPU acceleration. Turn it off in the preferences.
