Control Bar no longer shows Image PPI and Color Mode without clicking an icon

Hi everyone,

Since recent updates to Illustrator, the Control Bar no longer displays a linked image’s Effective PPI and Color Mode by default. Instead, this info has been hidden behind an info icon (ⓘ), requiring an extra click every time an image is selected.

For prepress, print production, and high-volume graphic design, checking effective PPI and color modes across dozens of placed images is a constant daily necessity. Adding an extra click for every single check introduces a major bottleneck and seriously slows down my workflow.

Has anyone found a workaround, custom script, or setting to keep PPI and Color Mode permanently visible on the Control Bar like in previous versions?

Honestly, it feels like instead of moving forward, Adobe is going backwards with these recent updates—removing essential tools and hiding useful features that power users rely on daily for basic productivity.
