Copied Links/Images Missing On Reopening (File Saved With "Include Links") - M1 - MacOS Monterey

Hi !

Images in my artwork that i copied from another illustrator file go missing when I reopen the file.

While saving the file I checked "include linked images".

I have also tried linking the images again after reopening the file and then saving the file once again. Nothing seems to resolve this problem.

This problem doesn't happen to images that are not copied from another file.

This problem did not happen on my previous Intel-based Mac.

PLS HELP if you gave a problem.

Model: Macbook Pro 2020 (M1 Chip)

Software - MacOS Monterey

Thanks so much.

Rohan

Correct answer Larry G. Schneider

If you want to keep links DON'T use "Include Linked Files". This will embed all images and remove the links.
