Hello,

I have a problem, AI cannot paste an image I copy, in the same place. Let me explain better, I have a pics on AI, I type ctrl+c then ctrl+f but AI cannot paste anything. Anyone could help me?

Why not just dupiclate that layer? Then it appears in the same place as the original. That is what I do.

There may be other things on the layer and that would then require deleting everything else on it. Also, the function really should be working correctly, so it is better to find out the problem.

Does the Paste in Place command work?

Or use the layers panel, start to drag the object in the layers panel, then add Alt and Alt+drag to Duplicate it in place. (This does not mean stop looking for the solution, of course.)
