Corner glitch?

Hi guys, after carefully dividing a simple shape with Pathfinder, a weird glitch/residue appeared at the corner of the new shape and I cannot get rid of it. Snap to Point / Glyph / Grid / Pixel is switched off. In the outline, the residue disappears; however, I have no idea on how to clean it up.

It often means a GPU issue.

Try to change the display performance from GPU to CPU (uncheck GPU Performance option in Edit > Preferences > Performance).

In addition to what Anna said, you can also switch temporarely to CPU Preview; Cmd or Ctrl E.

It is probably caused by GPU accelerated preview; fast but sometimes inaccurate.

It should not affect print or export, so you can leave it on and switch from time to time when you don't trust what you see.
