couleur FFFFFF (Blanc)

Bonjour,

Merci à l'avance ...

(traduction Google)

Hello
I am unable to change the color FFFFFF (white) with Illustrator. When I change the color FFFFFF for example FEFEFE (other white) in CMYK the color always comes back in FFFFFF. I have to print with white color but I can't use the FFFFFF because this code with my printer is transparent. I hope you understand what I mean!!!
Thanks in advance ...

For my part you are welcome, Chris (or is it Christ?).

Each change of letter/number in Hex colour code corresponds to a change of 1 in RGB colour code, in other words 1/255 of full colour; this again corresponds (roughly) to 0.4% in K.

The switch FF>FE corresponds to 255>254 (roughly 0>0.4% K), and F9>F8 corresponds to 249>248 (roughly 2.3>2.7% K).

You may expect fluctuations in Hex/RGB colours in CMYK Color mode.

For the other white, try f9f9f9 instead of fefefe.  That should "stick".

BIZARE!!!

Merci

Chris,

It looks as if you are in RGB Color Mode and switch to CMYK in the Color palette, and if so, why look for CMYK values; you always get weird values.

And if you are in CMYK Color Mode why use the Web Safe codes instead of a very low K value such as 0.1% K or 0.4% K?

Tu as probablement raison.

You want to print white color on dark background?

What kind of printer do you have?

In that case what does the documentation say about vector files? How do they need to be set up?

I know this is possible with PNGs, but I'm not sure about vector files.

If you don't have a PostScript printer, don't design in CMYK.
