Crashes in downloading Illustrator CS5 - CS6 - CC on Windows 10 Pro

Hello, I have tried to download Adobe Illustrator on my new Laptop the old versions from CC - CS6 - CS5 and also CC 2019 - CC 2018, but all of these versions didn't complete the installation process, it gave an error that " We've encountered the following issues, Installer has detected that a machine restart may be pending. It is recommended that you quit the installer, restart your machine and try install again. "Then I click ignore because I restarted my laptop many times without working, and it gave me " Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem "I click on it but it seems a page with no help.

I need a solution please because many of my files are not working on the latest version of Illustrator 2022, only the old versions.

I need to install at least just one old version.

Thank You

Hi @Khadija Attal,

We are sorry to hear about that. In addition to @Mylenium suggestion,  would you mind installing the app using the Creative Cloud Desktop app? You can also install the previous version of Illustrator from there. Let us know how it goes.

Kindly update the discussion if you still need assistance with it. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks & Regards,

Check your Windows Update. There may indeed be pending updates blocking stuff. That aside you may simply need to run those old installers in Compatibility mode for Windows 7 at least. After all, they were never created with Windows 10/11 in mind. That aside I have this odd feeling that your system may not meet some system requirements. the crammed icons on your desktop could indicate that the vertical resolution is not high enough and the installer might already crash when checking the system specs or when it's unable to draw dialogs.
