Create outer dimensions with Illustrator dimension tool, height and width at once?

Hello Adobe team,

Would it not be great to create outer dimensions with Adobe Illustrators new dimension tool, height and width at once? Simply select the shape and click. All the parameters are there and the tool is there.

Or is it allready possible and I can't find it?
