Question

Creating a T Shirt Logo Settings

I am working on making a shirt design with letters and graphics, before I started I changed the raster effects to High (300 ppi), and the color mode CYMK. My question is are there any other settings I should change so that my print comes out with the best quality?
Thank you

The raster effects settings only apply if the design has raster effects, like placed images, or drop shadow and glow effects. Most t shirt logos are created with vector art only. You need to find out if your printer can work with raster effects if they are included in your logo.

T shirt printing is typically done with silk screening. This method of printing is different than standard offset printing, because you pay for each color screen. The CMYK setting of your file won't matter if the T shirt will be silk screened. You need to ask your printer about this too.

Some T shirts are direct digitally printed to the shirt, or printed to a transfer material which is then applied to the shirt. This method is done with CMYK inks.

You will need to talk to the printer who will be producing your shirts; appropriate settings will vary according to the printing equipment being used.
