Creating user-defined swatch library additionally adds default swatches

I created a user-defined swatch library of six seamless pattern tiles. I did 'save swatch library as AI', but for some reason the default color swatches have been added also. I only want the ones I created. How to get rid of the added defaults? Thanks!

You need to delete all the swatches you don't want from the swatch panel before saving -- or, open your swatch library as a regular AI file (File > Open), delete the swatches from the panel and save again.

Okay, that worked fine. I wasn't sure if deleting the other color swatches would somehow remove them everywhere. Thanks!

Swatches are always document specific. You remove them just from the affected document.
