Question

Creative Cloud/Illustrator installer problem.

I am trying to download the Illustrator free trial onto my mac (Catalina) and I cannot begin the install process.  I am able to download the installer and then when double clicking the icon to begin the installation, nothing happens.  Has anyone encountered this issue before/know if this is a simple fix?

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. I hope the suggestions shared by Monika helped resolve the problem. If not, kindly try installing Creative Cloud (https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html) under a different administrator account (https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/add-a-user-or-group-mchl3e281fc9/mac). If you don't mind, could you please follow the steps and share your observations with us? We appreciate your time and effort in helping us resolve this issue.

Can you please tell us your hardware specifications?

Is there any error warning?

Did you turn off antivirus?

Hi Monika, no error warning and my firewall is switched off.  What kind of hardware specs are we talking here, apologies I am a technical novice...

And then there is a whole group about installation issues: https://community.adobe.com/t5/download-install/ct-p/ct-download-and-install?page=1&sort=latest_replies&lang=all&tabid=all  who might be more up to date about very specific things going on
