Creative Cloud Illustrator Shortcut Link Incorrect

The Illustrator link short cut link once again is pointing to Beta. This is not the first time this has happened.

Not sure how this continues to happen whether it is on my computer or Adobe side?

The link is at the TOP of the screen on the CC Desktop webpage.

Hello @westdr1dw,

Thanks, working now. After receiving a message CC was just updated the link is now opening the correct version. Which begs the question: Is there a preferred method to open the apps?

I was sent a link to open the apps on the web. However, I would think this would defeat the purpose of Desktop Creative Cloud?

This is also the second time this has happend in the past year which is causing me to re-think the process.

In any case thank you for the fix.

Hi @westdr1dw,

Thanks for sharing the additional details. To help me investigate this further, could you please share the exact web link you're referring to, or confirm if it's this page you're accessing: https://adobe.ly/49Eofhd. Additionally, please let me know which browser you're using and whether this behavior occurs consistently across all browsers or only in a specific one.

As a next step, please try clearing the browser cache from your browser settings and then reload the page to see if that helps. It would also be helpful if you could share a screenshot showing exactly where you're clicking on the page, so we can look into this further.

Looking forward to your update.

Abhishek

Can the Manage Shortcuts option solve your problem?

There is very limited actions you can take while on the Creative Cloud web page. Normally in the past I could right mouse click to see where the link was pointed to. The last time I sent an RFI to the forum it was fixed when the new update came out. Not sure if it was by accident. Again I would think Adobe controls the destination of which file to open. If I click on the Ai at the bottom of the page the correct app opens.
