Crossing objects are visible under gradient in pdf

Hi!

I've discovered a bug in pdf file with vector illustration (SVG). You can see in screenshot the crossing of objects in places where the gradient is applied. I created illustration in Corel (I apologize for writing here about Corel, but I don't know where else to ask my question). And it's interestimg that everything is fine if I watch this illustration in pdf file on mobile phone. This bug I can only see on computer. Can it be connected with pdf-viewer?

    When exporting CorelDRAW artwork to Illustrator using the AI format export filter you can keep gradient fills intact if they don't have any transparency effects on any of the gradient stops. In the export dialog box choose the most recent version of Illustrator format available, be it CS6 or CC (this depends on the version of CorelDRAW you're using). The gradient fills on objects will usually be set and positioned as intended when the artwork is opened in Adobe Illustrator. Always double-check though.

     

    Corel needs to improve the Illustrator AI and PDF export filters in CorelDRAW to properly support transparency effects in fills and gradients. But that's just one on a long list of things they need to improve in the application.


    Thanks for help! I finally solved this problem this way: I exproted illustration from Corel to Illustrator as AI (gradient hasn't changed) and then exported illustration as SVG. This version of SVG illustration works perfect in pdf file. I guess there is problem in Corel with export, troublesome Corel)

    Are there any transparency effects applied to the gradients? One thing I've noticed about CorelDRAW is it does not export its own transparency fill effects very well at all in other formats, such as PDF or AI. Very often the fills get turned into rasterized objects held within clipping masks. Generally speaking, CorelDRAW isn't the greatest app to use for any artwork containing gradient fills. I've designed a lot of things in that application, but knowing its behavior I've taken objects created there into Illustrator and finished up the fill effects there. The gradients end up printing out far more smoothly and predictably. With CorelDRAW the artwork may print with gradients given no more than 256 steps of shading, which leads to all sorts of banding issues.

     

    The version of CorelDRAW used and version of SVG exported to also matter. Those variables may also explain the odd results of gradient fills.

    Thanks for answering! I've checked transparency in every objects with gradient and there is 0 % everywhere. Also I've checked same pdf file in different pdf-viewer. In microsoft edge and foxit reader there is this bug but in acrobat everything works as it should. Maybe I'll try export from Corel to AI without any gradient and put same gradient in AI and check again in pdf

      You might want to ask in a CorelDRAW forum, because we cannot give you tips about it. And also: how exactly is that gradient set up? Maybe it's transparent.

      Thanks for answering! I wish I could ask in CorelDRAW forum but I even can't sign up, it seems like the forum is kinda dead and I had Corel in my computer before I got Illustartor so designed some stuff in Corel(

      I've checked transparency in all objects, there is 0% everywhere.
