Ctrl F / paste in front not working properly

Hi, usually when I ctrl C and ctrl F, it pastes precisely where it was before, if in a different artboard.
But now I cannot do that.

For example, I ctrl C at the top right and go to the new tab and a new artboard; it pastes at a different location; it does not paste at the top right. Before this, it worked well; I don't know if I mistakenly turned off something.
