CTRL + keys (Shortcuts) are not working/ responding in illustrator

Hello guys,

i have no idea whats going on.. Suddenly CTRL decide to stop working and that soo exhausting.

I reset the preferences but nothing changed

If you have any info about that.. please save me

A couple of third party apps are interfering with Illustrator's modifier keys. Of course this applies to any app that "enhances" typing or shortcuts in general, but there are more:

WhatsApp on the web being the active tab in the browser
WebRoot
Apple Terminal
Word, Excel, Powerpoint
»Enable Full Keyboard« in Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard on Mac OS
»Keyboard Navigation« in Apple settings > Keyboard
Apple Mail, Outlook
Spacebar is used as a shortcut by the system
Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari
Wacom Desktop Center, Wacom settings
Windows Touch Pad problem
LastPass, Bitwarden (password managers)
The VPN
LangSwitcher app (it needs to be closed and disabled)

Do you have any of this installed or turned on?

In this case I only had AI and opera open. When I closed everything and opened only the program, the problem was still there, but it was fixed when I reset the preferences and restarted the computer. Thanks for helping

What is the exact AI version? Does the same issue appear in other programs?

AI V29.3 and no it just didn't work in ai. When I reset the preferences it didn't work but after I closed everything and restarted the computer it was fixed. Thank u for helping
