Custom guidelines in saved workspace

Can someone advice how to save custom guidelines to appear on saved workspace or to create a shortcut for custom made guidelines?

You can save an Illustrator file with guides as .ai (wherever you like)

When you create a new file using: File > New from Template... and select that .ai file it will open as untitled with the guides in place.

Advantadge of saving the .template as .ai instead of .ait is that it is color managed.

Guides cannot be part of a workspace, they can be part of a template file.
