Cutting out using Pathfinder Divide

Hi,

I've recently come across an issue I cant seem to solve. In the past, using the pathfinder divide tool, I was able to cut everything out with no issues. Now when I use the same tool, I get these wierd outlines.

See example below.

Do you think I've changed a setting to create this issue?

(The shape in the image has no "outline" - just a fill)

Mark,

I am afraid the long answer is Ctrl/Cmd+E

This is what GPU is about:

GPU is faster, sometimes too fast.

Graphics cards are included in the system requirements:
https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/system-requirements.html
https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/system-requirements/earlier-versions.html
https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/system-requirements-old-versions.html

Apart from an inadequate card, the issue can be caused by lack of driver updating, lack of proper recognition of the card by the computer, and whatnot (including rifts in the space time, moon, weather, and the fact that Illy sometimes moves in mysterious ways).

Here are a few more pages about GPU troubleshooting:

Ctrl/Cmd+E toggles between GPU and CPU Preview, GPU causing the issue.
