How do I deactivate two computers so that I can use my new computer? Is deactivate and uninstalling the same thing?

You do not need to uninstall. You don't even need to deactivate.

Install it on the new computer. When you then login to use it, you will be asked which other computer you want to deactivate.

You can also find your active sessions in your Adobe account and deactivate them.
