Default sizes for different product design
Hello everyone!
I wanna practice product design, are there any default sizes for different packaging like for businesscards, cereal box etc.?

A business card should fit into a wallet. And all the required text should fit ot it. Besides that there are several available sizes at the printer. And also it makes sense to select a size so that not too much waste paper is produced.
cereal boxes: the produce should fit into it. when you compare them on the shelf in the supermarket: what do you find? are they the same? ANd again: if you design this for a producer of cereals, they will probably hand you a dieline that they got from their printer or their packaging company.
