Defective magnifying glass

Does anyone have the same problem as me?
When I zoom in on text with a magnifying glass.
Switch to the text tool, change the text and switch back to the magnifying glass, then I can no longer zoom out with the alt key.
I have to switch to the selection tool first. And then back to the magnifying glass to zoom out with the alt key. Does that make any sense?

When I want to zoom out with the alt key, the hand always appears to move.
Only when I have switched to the selection tool and then back to the magnifying glass, the minus symbol appears when pressing the Alt key to zoom out. This is extremely annoying and very uncomfortable.
